International R&D projects

In recent years, the GII research stuff has been involved in a number of international research projects, related mostly to development of new methodologies for exploration and rational management of groundwater resources. During these projects, our stuff took an active part in all stages of the research, including selection of investigation sites, planning geophysical surveys at the sites, carrying out field acquisition, processing, interpretation and analysis of the geophysical data, reporting and publication of the results. The projects have been carried out in various international frameworks, such as INCO-DC (in Cyprus and Israel with four European partners), US-AID (in Jordan, Erithrea and Turkmenistan with local partners), BMBR (in Germany and Israel with German partners) and NATO (in Jordan and Israel with European and Jordanian partners).
