2013 - 2014 The Geophysical Institute of Israel complete a land and Transition Zone 2D seismic project in Tanzania on behalf of Maurel and Prom, Oil Company. The project conducted in South-East Tanzania consisted of some hundreds of kilometers along tens of seismic lines in four different areas. The seismic energy was Dynamite utilizing more than 10,000 drilling holes.
The project last some 14 months and more than 1.5 million men hours; nevertheless, no significant safety or security incidents were reported.
Seismic data processing conducted along the seismic project for quality assurance and control. As so, GII revealed satisfactory and very good quality of seismic data – this was appreciated and communicated continuously by the client.
